Rome and beyond

We got back from Rome on Tuesday, June 2nd, at 9 PM.  The following Sunday I persuaded Roger to go to “Angels and Demons” starring Tom Hanks at our local theater.  It is set in Rome and the Vatican and the posters were all over Italy.  I was just in the Sistine Chapel on Monday!  But the Vatican looked very different in the movie.  It didn’t have any people in it.  Here is what the line to get in to the Vatican Museum looked like last Monday:

The movie also showed the Pantheon and the fountain of Rivers in Piazza Navona and several other sites that we checked off our must see list while we were in Rome.  The movie was fun, but Rome was so much more interesting.  We are hoping to put our photos on Flickr or something like it soon.
